About your Eye Doctor: Dr. Kevin Y. Hirano & Staff at Woodinville Family Eyecare

Kevin Y. Hirano, O.D., is pleased to have had his private practice inside the Woodinville, WA Costco since August 2005. Before opening Woodinville Family Eyecare, Dr. Hirano practiced as an Optometrist for over five years at the Issaquah, WA Costco and at a high-end private practice in Bellevue. Dr. Hirano has enjoyed working in many Optometric settings: from retail optometry to hospitals to private practices. This opportunity allows him to own his own practice in a high-tech, professional setting that he enjoys while also providing his patients with a caring, comfortable environment for eye care.

So who is Dr. Hirano and why should you entrust your vision to him? Dr. Hirano received his Doctorate of Optometry (O.D.) from the prestigious University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry (UCBSO) where he graduated in the top 5% of his class in 1998. He went on to train in an optometric residency here in Tacoma, Washington, at the American Lake VA Hospital where he thoroughly enjoyed serving our country's military veterans. As an Eye Doctor, Dr. Hirano loves his choice of profession. He enjoys working with patients towards better eyesight, is always on the cutting edge of new technology and believes in providing affordable, state-of-the-art eyecare.

Dr. Hirano is also a family man and wants to provide families with a comfortable setting for their eye care. He has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, Ann, for 16 years. The Hiranos have two beautiful children. You and your family are always welcome at Woodinville Family Eyecare. As a husband and father, Dr. Hirano knows firsthand how important our families are to us. We want to make sure everyone in your family receives high quality eye care at an affordable price.

In his spare time, Dr. Hirano loves to spend time with his family and friends, attends church regularly, likes to play golf and tennis as well as bike, hike and run. We hope that Dr. Hirano and our staff Woodinville Family Eyecare can provide you with the tools you need for better eyesight and thereby a better quality of life!

When you call for an appointment, stop by to ask a question or come in for your appointment, you will most likely be talking to Judy, Kathy, SueAnn or Kris, our courteous, professional staff. Our wonderful receptionists are excited to learn all they can about Optometry, eye health and patient care. As you get to know our staff, you will notice that they have excellent customer service skills and solid tech skills as they conduct your pre-testing. We are proud of our state-of-the-art office! We have all the latest and greatest in vision equipment, automated and high-tech. We also have a paperless office complete with patient database and virtual eye exam documentation for the eye doctor. Dr. Hirano loves to show off his new, professional private practice and we hope to 'see' you soon for an eye exam. All ages are welcome at Woodinville Family Eyecare.
